For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1
Even when I’ve bought a bag of Starbucks to make at home, it never tastes the same as the freshly brewed coffee from Starbucks.
I have come to the conclusion it depends on the coffee maker and how it’s brewed. I know this is true when it comes to Armenian coffee because I’m an expert in making it.
Same is true with the things that we do in and with our daily lives.
Most of our life is spent waiting.
Waiting is a given but how are we going to wait is a choice.
Do we complain, get upset and whine?
Or do we, enjoy the journey and MAKE the most and best of what we have and with where we are while pursuing our dreams or whatever it may be for you.
This is also true for a person who is very talented and book smart but has no people skills and doesn’t know how to do relationships- the very vital essential for a wholesome life. How they use their knowledge and talent determines their character and quality of life.
Neither one of us decided what day we wanted to be born, who our parents were going to be. If you’re a girl, you didn’t decide when you were going to start your menstrual cycle or when you were going to get married and have babies. There is a part we play but most of it unfolds in its own, right time. There is that right time for each one of us and it varies from person to person and how we look at life and accept things will change our outlook and ultimately change our lives.
I’m not saying we should be passive. Rather, we should be actively enjoying our lives in the season we’re in while positioning ourselves for the things ahead.
What is the greatest day in the history of the world?
Live it. Love it. Embrace it. Make it Count.
